Hey there! Holly here! Thank you so much for dropping in! I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and I specialize in working with children and families. I was thrust into the world of education when I accepted a position as a School Counselor five years ago.

In the school system I serve, eighty-percent of our students struggle with poverty, family addiction, trauma, and self-harm, just to name a few. When addressing student needs I struggled to find age appropriate resources that combined Evidenced-Based Practice with ASCA Standards. So, I created my own! I’m excited to be here, sharing those resources with you.

In my personal life I’m the mom to a teenage daughter, our sweet Chocolate Lab and our Holland Lop. Our Holland Lop also doubles as a therapy pet for my students.

I’m here because of my own personal experience. I had a School Social Worker that made a huge impact on me when I was young. I aspired to be just like Mrs. Emery and hope that this page helps you in your journey to be the agent for change with your students too.
